Knipex slip joint pliers are manufactured in Germany to exacting international standards using the latest technology and the finest materials.
Capacity (Pipe OD): 34MM
- Made from forged, oil hardened, chrome vanadium, electric steel
- Parallelogram-shaped jaws with flat tips cleverly designed to hold nuts, pipes and flat objects
- Angled teeth, specially hardened to 61 HRC, provide a positive grip on the workpiece
- Robust, non-slip, tongue and groove joint, suitable for high leverage applications
- Joint design reduces strain on the centre bolt, prolonging tool life
- Accurately milled tongue for easy engagement of the five different jaw positions
- Self-locking - teeth set against the direction of rotation have a self-locking effect; the pliers lock onto the workpiece reducing the required handforce
- "No-nip" safety stop (Handles cannot close together to nip the users hand)
- Wide comfortable handles with non-slip plastic coating
- Manufactured to ISO 8976
