Knipex slip joint pliers are manufactured in Germany to exacting international standards using the latest technology and the finest materials.

Made from forged, oil hardened, chrome vanadium, electric steel
Chrome plated head; the chrome plated surface ensures permanent protection against rust
Parallelogram-shaped jaws with flat tips cleverly designed to hold nuts, pipes and flat objects
Angled teeth, specially hardened to 61 HRC, provide a positive grip on the workpiece
Accurately formed box joint for strength and stability
Wide opening jaws - 30% more gripping capacity than conventional waterpump pliers
Nine position jaw adjustment
Compact head and joint area for good access to workpiece in confined spaces
Self-locking - teeth set against the direction of rotation have a self-locking effect; the pliers lock onto the workpiece reducing the required handforce
