Stanley MaxSteel aviation snips will cut up to 18 gauge/1.2 mm mild steel sheet and 23 gauge/0.7 mm stainless steel sheet.

- Heat treated cutting edges.
- Serrated blades grip the material being cut.
- Compound leverage eases the cutting of thicker material and increases control for intricate cutting.
- Spring-loaded, self-opening handles (with safety catch).
- Bi-material, easy grip handles.
- Three models are available with colour coded grips.
- Green handled cuts right curves and straight.
- Yellow handled cuts straight and shallow curves left and right
- Red handled cuts left curves and straight.
