Knipex cable shears are manufactured in Germany to exacting international standards using the latest technology and the finest materials.
- Cutting Capacity: 20mm ø / 70mm²
- Made from forged, oil-hardened, special grade, tool steel. Burnished finish
- Precision ground and hardened cutting edge
- Two cutting profiles (front for insulation, rear for conductor) allows cables up to 20mm diameter to be cut
- Adjustable bolted joint with self-retaining screw
- Easy cutting with one-hand operation
- Clean and smooth cut without crushing or deformation
- Cuts copper and aluminium single conductors as well as multi-stranded cables (Not suitable for steel wire and hard drawn copper conductors)
- Safety stop prevents the handles closing together to pinch the users fingers
- Suitable for cutting, stripping and dismantling
- Plastic coated handles
- Cutting capacity shown is for copper and aluminium cables
