The Knipex Cobra® XL and XXL slip joint pliers offer easier handling, greater gripping capacity and much lower weight than comparable pipe wrenches.
- Made from forged, oil hardened, chrome vanadium, electric steel
- Parallelogram-shaped jaws with flat tips cleverly designed to hold nuts, pipes and flat objects
- Angled teeth, specially hardened to 61 HRC, provide a positive grip on the workpiece
- Accurately formed box joint for strength and stability
- Wide opening jaws with speedy push-button jaw adjustment
- Multiple position jaw adjustment allows precise sizing of the jaw opening (20 or 27 positions depending on the model)
- Self-locking - teeth set against the direction of rotation have a self-locking effect; the pliers lock onto the workpiece reducing the required handforce
- "No-nip" safety stop (Handles cannot close together to nip the users hand)
- Wide comfortable handles with non-slip plastic coating
- Manufactured to ISO 5743
