Head forged from special steel.
Carefully hardened and tempered to guarantee a long service life. (Head conforms to DIN6475).
Striking faces are ground and polished, with particular attention to an accurate chamfer round the striking face.
Handle made from hickory, a tough wood with long fibres; ideal for hammer shafts (Handle conforms to DIN5135).
Hardened steel sleeve protects the handle from overstrikes and increases its bending strength.
Patented dual head/handle fastening system for high working safety. The force needed to separate the head from the handle is more than five times the value required to meet DIN specifications (The dual system consists of a tapered collar plus a fixing plate).
